    IMAGINE THE FUTURE
    Go to the Welcome Page
        IMAGINE THIS...

Go Back to the Welcome Page...

Imagination is the key to any kind of success...
And Imagination is what takes you from nothing to something...

Well, Imagination and a huge amount of Hard Work, Time and Money...

Everything you see on this website is the result of one person's imagination and hard work, and that imagination
is quite vast, to include many things currently unincorporated into the website, but part of the future of BCB-Tools.com

    So, imagine this...

Currently, this entire website (all 5000-8000++ pages), the BCB_Code_Generator, the TDx_Library,
and the TDx9_Library are maintained and grown by the efforts of (1) person, Darren John Dwyer.

An incredibly vast and complex job, and a job that he has performed extremenly well for over 23+ years now.
All work done just by himself, with only occasional help from anyone else including his silent business partners.

You can see the results sofar, something that can only be truly experienced.
It cannot just be seen to be believed.

Now, this is an awful lot of work.

Imagine if darren had a little bit of help...

Okay, we all started from somewhere.

I started from literally nothing, just a lot of general Apple/DOS/Windows and Unix/Vax Mainframe programming experience.

I worked hard and saved hard and purchased a cheap computer and Windows 95 and Borland C++ Builder v1.

I learnt how to program C++ Builder by purchasing programming books and experimenting,
and i downloaded DirectX and experimented... then i learnt HTML, JavaScript, PHP3 and MySQL and everything...

And i worked, and worked and worked, programming for 120 hours a week for 6++ years, continuously...
Wake up, work till it's time to go to sleep, exhausted, 7 days a week...

Until i had a mental breakdown, and then i had to recover... i'm schizophrenic we discovered...

Since then i have worked and worked and worked, creating the website and various upgrades,
averaging at least 40-60 hours a week, continuously... all for negative money...

Over 23+ years later, we have this entire website.

Over 5,000 Pages of TDx_Library related information.
Over 200 Megabytes of TDx_Library related information.

That takes a lot of imagination and hard work and dedication, doesn't it?

    So, Imagine the future :-
    • Dozens, then Hundreds of working step-by-step Demos and Application Frameworks
    • Dozens and Dozens of step-by-step Tutorials
    • Dozens of Reviews, Articles, Information Pages, etc.
    • Code Examples for each Component, Property, Method, Event, Callback, etc.
    • More documentation for each Component, Property, Method, Event, Callback, etc.

    • The TDx_Library, working with Borland / Inprise / CodeGear / Embarcadero C++ Builder X
    • The TDx_Library, working with Delphi X
    • The TDx9_Library, DirectX 9.0c fully working
    • The TDx9_Library, as comprehensive as the TDx_Library
    • The TDx12_Library, DirectX 12 fully working for Windows 10
    • The TDx12_Library, as comprehensive as the TDx_Library

    • More Advanced Development Tools

Imagine this... after 23+ very long years, our in-house software development infrastructure is now complete...
and our tools are now complete, no longer just prototypes, but instead fully working component libraries...
    • The BCB_Code_Generator is v2.3, smooth as smooth can be...

it can now be relied upon to produce Megabytes of fully working DirectX 7/9
and BCB v1,3,4,5,6,2006,++ Source Code, Project Files, Batch Files, ReadMe's, Help Files,
      HTML Files, and so on...

    • The TDx_Library is almost complete, and 107 components are fully working...

meaning that the raw prototype has now become a fully fledged application
development enviroment of choice for many end-users...

    • The TDx9_Library is completely prototyped, with only manual coding and descriptions todo...

and there are no problems forseen, except that DirectX 9 is (1) incredibly complex and
      (2) incredibly huge, and some parts of DirectX 9 will take quite a while to completely
translate to fully working Borland C++ Builder components...

We've now prototyped and developed and fully tested our software in the real-world...
Both our in-house tools and our commercially available software...

    What now?

Well, instead of concentrating all our time, effort and money simply on getting the in-house and prototype
development tools working, we can now concentrate our efforts on creating additional functionality and new tools...
for example, instead of just supporting .BMP and .WAV files, imagine we supported .JPG and .MP3 files...

Just imagine the future... the possibilities are endless now that all the ground-level work is done...

Imagine if there were more than (1) person working on this project.

Imagine what it would be like if there were more than (1) person developing the development tools,
developing the products, developing the demos, developing the tutorials, the information pages, the
reference pages, the help files, the website, and so on.

Imagine if there were (2) people working on this and future projects.

One person could be working on developing and expanding the TDx_Library, and one person could be
developing new demos, new tutorials, new articles, more information pages, and so on...

Now imagine if there were (3) people working on this and future projects.

Imagine if there were (5) people working on this and future projects.
Imagine if there were (10) people working on this and future projects.

    etc.

Something like Borland's "TeamB" would work well, how about we form "Team TDx"?

Imagine if we could all together leverage the core technologies that darren has created and
uses on a daily basis to overcome the normal limitations of developing alone...

Imagine if people actively contributed to the success of the TDx_Library, say, by putting in a couple of hours
here and there to create something new related to the TDx_Library...

Imagine if people actively helped write demos, tutorials, information pages, and so on.

Imagine what would happen if people actually started using the forums to share programming ideas,
source code, programming information, hints and tips, and so on.

Imagine what would happen if there were hundreds of demos, dozens of tutorials, and so on to read, share,
expand our awareness of all the things that the TDx_Library is capable of.

The author of these tools is severely disabled, lives on a disability pension, in poverty, and pays for this website out of his pension...

Imagine if the author of the tools had enough money to hire some programmers, graphic artists,
    sound engineers, documentation experts, etc.

Just for one second imagine what the author could do if he actually had some serious money behind him.

Then imagine what the future might behold...

Imagine teams of programmers creating loads more cutting-edge next-generation programming tools...
All tools available online for immediate download at a very reasonable price... many FREE!

Imagine what would happen if just less than 1% of existing free-users decided to register...

That would be 230+ registrations, many more registrations than we've ever had in the lifetime of this project...

Then we'd have enough money to complete the development of the next-generation of our tools, dramatically
expanding the capabilities of Borland C++ Builder and DirectX and offering unprecedented functionality...

Imagine for a second what the author could do with 230 * US$100... that's US$23000... enough to buy some more
hardware and pay the bills for the website for a year... and pay for the development of the first few releases
of the TDx9_Library... maybe the TDx12_Library...

US$23000, thats more than an entire years income for the author...

Imagine what would happen if all 100% of the free-users decided to register...

That would be 23,000+ registrations, more money than we can dream of at the moment...

Then we'd have enough money to hire a complete team of developers and establish tdxlibrary.org as a real-world
enterprise, then maybe companies would parlay and take us seriously, and we'd be creating unprecedented amounts of new
tools, leveraging Darren's intimate knowledge of the BCB_Code_Generator to create a huge number of new tools.

Imagine for a second what the author could do with 23000 * US$100... that's US$2,300,000... enough to buy some serious
hardware, pay the bills for the website for a few years... pay for the development of the entire future of the
    TDx_Library and TDx9_Library... and the BCB_Code_Generator and the TDx12_Library

US$2,300,000, thats almost enough to create a standardized, new, next-generation, operating system to replace Windows, Solaris, etc....

Enough to easily establish tdxlibrary.org as a commercially viable next-generation
    software development tools company...

Enough to easily develop the tools darren has already designed and in some cases partly implemented,
as described on the "Future" page :-

Finally, imagine what would happen if a whole bunch of people decided to talk and discuss the TDx_Library,
on newsgroups, on websites, and so on...

Imagine if each of our end-users could send out 10 emails once a month to people they know letting
these new people know about our tools...

    Imagine the result...

Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't, but who knows till people try...

Let your imagination run wild, and maybe, help us a little...

I can do the majority of the work, all by myself, with no real money.
    No problems.

This entire website is living, breathing PROOF that I know how to do the work.
And I work very smart too...

But it takes a lot of time, all by myself, with no real money.

Any Money dramatically accelerates our development plans.
No money simply hinders our development plans (the current situation).

    Some help would be nice...
    Any help would be nice...

Some real money would be nice...

Just Imagine what I could do if I had money and help as well as my own programming and development skills.

Just Imagine what the future holds for us once we have completed the current programming projects...

    Thanks for reading this.
