Microsoft no longer supports the DirectX 7.0a SDK at all, and does not support the DirectX 10 SDK on any
operating systems other than Vista, 7 and 8 and they do not care about developers like us, who support all existing windows
platforms, especially 95,98,ME,CE,NT,2K and XP, instead of just the latest and greatest versions, Vista, 7 and 8 which is a shame...
This means that most hardware pre-2005 which is not DirectX 9.0c compatible is not supported by Microsoft,
and only DirectX 9.0c hardware, ie. hardware available after 2005, is fully supported by Microsoft.
Microsoft ignore all our emails and attempts to co-promote our toolsets, and simply demand we stop supporting the
DirectX 7.0a SDK... what happens to people who develop on non-Vista platforms or who develop their products to perform
well with older hardware as well as the latest and greatest hardware?
...
Borland and it's company, CodeGear and now Embarcadero (it's now called "CodeGear C++ Builder" not BCB anymore) are simply not interested
in helping us co-develop our tools, not interested in investing a LITTLE capital, and or helping us in any real way...
...
You would think that these companies would see the immense benefits of promoting RAD DirectX wouldn't you?
Or, at least, they could make a strategic investment and see us grow to the next level, or do >anything< to help us...
But No, these companies cannot see the forest because of all the trees...
They have no concept of the awesome power of RAD DirectX, and they even cannot be bothered to look at our
website or evaluate our technologies, let alone actively partnering with us to try to expand awareness of
everything RAD DirectX is capable of... they simply ignore us literally and do everything in their power to
destroy our business...
...
This leaves us all alone in the big, wide, bad world...
Charting our own future, supporting other people's dead-end products so they can be used with the latest technologies
to overcome the limitations of developing using dead-end technology... trying to breath new life into what we consider
is some of the best technology ever invented... before they scrap it completely...
Creating cutting-edge, next-generation toolsets that every programmer has always dreamed about...
...
Reckon we'll succeed when Microsoft and Borland like to dominate the industry with out-of-date painful technology?
We hope so... please help us create more by registering... or pre-registering... or investing... or sponsoring us...
And keep us developing long into many future nights...
