    SPHERICAL COORDINATES

    [ TDx_Input_Library ]     [ next: Spring ]     [ prev: Sine ]

Spherical coordinates are expressed as two or more angles, in 100ths of a degree, from the positive direction of one axis to the positive direction of the next.

Thus directions for a device with 3 axes would be described by two angles, the first counting clockwise from the positive X axis (to the right) towards the positive Y axis (towards the user) and the second counting from the positive Y axis (towards the user) downwards towards the positive Z axis (down).

More than two angles can be used to describe direction if there are more than three axes.
