Rolloff is the amount a sound is attenuated relative to the distance between a 3D sound source and a 3D sound listener. Rolloff factor is a multiplier that is applied to the calculated rolloff values.
The default rolloff factor of one results in a sound halving in volume as the minimum distance is doubled. This approximates the real world behavior of sound.
