    • Description

The TDx_DrawSurface::SetLOD method is used to define the maximum level of detail (LOD) that a managed mipmap should display.

Calling this method on a surface without DDSCAPS2_TEXTUREMANAGE set will merely result in a DDERR_INVALIDOBJECT error being returned.

For example, if this method set the MaxLOD parameter to 3, it would mean that only mipmaps of level 3 or smaller should be displayed.

If the method call fails, the OnError event will be triggered with one of the following values:
        DDERR_INVALIDOBJECT
        DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS

    • Parameters

        MaxLOD
The MaxLOD parameter defines the maximum level of detail to be set for the mipmap chain.
