    PRIMARY BUFFER

    [ TDx_Sound_Library ]     [ next: Read Cursor ]     [ prev: Play Cursor ]

A primary sound buffer is a section of hardware or system memory from which sound waveform information is played.
The primary sound buffer is actually heard by the end user and is generally used to play the results of mixing any secondary buffers that are currently playing.
While it is actually possible to interact directly with the primary sound buffer, all but the most specialized applications should utilize secondary buffers and the normal mixing capabilities.
